National Environmental Partnership Summit Monday, February 16, 2009
Students are invited to attend any of the sessions on Tuesday but there are specific ones that the committee has selected that may be of special interest to the students.
Schedule:
8-10am Opening Plenary
10-10:30am Networking Break
10:30-12 Recommended Session: Using Interns to Identify and Implement E2 Opportunities
12-12:40 pm Lunch on your own
12:30-2 pm Environmental careers panel; job networking
2-3:30 pm Recommended Session: San Jose Green Schools
3:30-4 pm Student Poster Session: Join fellow students for their poster presentation or visit the booths in the Exhibit Hall!
4-5:30 pm Recommended Sessions: California Green Business Programs ( working title); Greening Fleets: A Roadmap to Lower Costs and Cleaner Corporate Fleets; Technology & Planning in the World of Climate Change; Leveraged Collaboration with Measureable Results in the Auto Body Sector (working title); Using Existing Flexibilities in Statutes, Regulations, and Policies
5:30-7:30 pm Happy Hour at 13 Views Join us in a private area of the hotel bar to mix and mingle with other students. Happy hour prices til 7:30 and appetizers available for purchase. All ages welcome; bartenders will check IDs.
