Event History

The Environmental Partnership Summit is an interdisciplinary gathering of environmental professionals and assistance providers from diverse sectors all over the country and world. It was created five years ago with the merger of the annual meetings of the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable (NPPR), the Compliance Assistance Providers’ Forum and the Performance Track Participants Association (PTPA).

Who Should Attend

Anne Vogel-Marr, President, PTPA Environmental professionals from business, academia, nongovernmental organizations, and government who want to learn how to put environmental stewardship into action should plan on attending. In addition to the varied content of the conference sessions, there will be ample opportunity for networking and exchanging ideas with fellow attendees and exhibitors. PTPA and NPPR members’ national meetings will take place at the Summit as does the Annual Performance Track Awards Dinner. The Performance Track Dinner provides an excellent opportunity to learn about member achievements and program results, as well as meet and reconnect with Performance Track members. Previous years attendees include: U.S. EPA, Ontario Ministry of the Environment, VA Dept. of Environmental Quality, Sierra Club, 3M, H2E, LA Dept. of Environmental Quality, and Baxter Healthcare Corporation.

Why Attend

Clay Jones, Chairman, President and CEO, of Rockwell Collins This year’s theme - ‘Accelerating Environmental Performance: Pathways to Action’ – reflects our commitment to provide concrete examples of environmental leadership. Throughout the week, we will show a variety of business and government programs that have taken the environmental lead. Most importantly, these case studies will show how your business or program can do the same. Throughout the week, the 2008 Summit will provide examples of environmental leadership that will inspire you to take action.
