Thank you for taking the time to thoughtfully fill out this form and send it to us by Friday, December 18, 2009.
Summit content review teams made up of your colleagues from Business, Government, and the non-profit community will be putting together sessions from individual speaker submissions. If you have a full session or training that you would like to submit please be sure that every speaker that you list as part of your session or training is aware of the Summit process and agrees to speak if selected.

Background and Instructions - Continued
Our goal is to maximize interaction and intensity in order to deepen the learning experiences and allow participation for all attendees. This year during the selection process presentation formats should encourage interaction and dialogue. To guide your thinking, we ask that you convey the expertise or experience you want to share to fit into a session in one of the following formats:
- Open Dialogues
- Tools
- Case Studies
- Collaborative Problem Solving
- Workshops & Demonstrations
- Panel Presentations with Discussion
The Summit is an interdisciplinary marketplace of ideas and activities. We are interested in the connections between ideas and people, in systems - not just specialties. Several national communities come together to learn from one another at the Summit including: green business, sustainability programs, pollution prevention, compliance assistance, and other environmental management innovators. We design the Summit each year to focus on the best practices of today and the future. Networking and innovation among the leaders in the environmental and green fields are the hallmarks of the Summit.
The following track categories are designed to help focus your submission:

- New, Clean Technology
Under the broad tracks are more specific topic areas.

- Sector Based Environmental Assistance & Environmental Regulations Update for 2009-2010 including TSCA, Toxics, and Toxics in Products

A submitter needs to select one topic area under one track. For example, you could select “Environmental Issues in Florida” as the topic area under the “Resource Efficiency Track” for your submission. Below is a general guideline for how topics can fit in under which tracks. Please use this as a guide for helping you place your submission.

These topic areas are guidelines meant to stimulate, but not limit your imagination. Within this framework, the details will be sculpted from the content of the submissions we receive. For some ideas about possible subject matter please select here.
The final filter through which we will be considering all submissions is the articulated relevance to the theme of this year’s Summit: Taking the Next Step for Energy, Sustainability, and a Green Economy. We believe that the subject matter of every session ought to demonstrate how our attendees can take environmental action. We ask that you make this connection very clear in the appropriate question on the form.
